WITNESS SPECIALIST

Victim Assistance Programs - Lamoreaux Justice Center. Orange, F/T, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for placing witnesses (subpoenaed by the District Attorney’s Office) on call and keeping them apprised of the status/disposition of the case.

Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma.
• Basic knowledge of the criminal justice system.
• Two years of related experience working with people in a human services setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population.
• Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a reliable automobile.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
