Animal Medical Center of Crystal Lake, an AAHA Accredited small animal hospital is seeking a full time Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant . We are located in Crystal Lake, IL which is a Northwest suburb with direct Metra service to Chicago. Our modern facility is very well equipped and we provide advanced medical diagnostic and surgical procedures for our patients. Other employee amenities include a 1200 S.F. gym as well as an exercise facility for your pets.

A strong candidate must have specific experience with comfortably assisting veterinarians and veterinary staff with animal care during a variety of medical procedures such as examinations, X-Rays, Ultrasounds, surgery, dentistry and rehabilitation. Applicants must be comfortable with using computers. Expertise with Microsoft Excel, electronic records management and animal hospital practice management software is a plus. You should enjoy establishing and sustaining progressive, professional, pleasant interactions with customers and staff alike, as well as, the ability to work independently or in a group setting. Candidates must possess an energetic, outgoing, high-initiative personality and must be punctual, well organized and reliable. Must be flexible to work some evenings and a minimum of two Saturdays a month. A Bachelors degree is a plus. Experienced and new graduates are welcomed to apply.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
