Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. You Will:

• Serve as the on-site Linux SME for the US Navy IPT programmatic and technical leads, communicating critical and time sensitive planning, performance, and risk mitigation directly to the technical leadership team.
• Monitor System performance including legacy servers and cloud systems.
• Solve legacy server, cloud, and virtualization issues.
• Maintain and develop Red Hat based solutions in a virtual environment.
• Write custom start scripts for various applications.
• Evaluate and implement potential new tools and technologies.
• Fluency in programming/scripting skills for automation.

You Have:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
• A BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Data Science, Analytics, Physics, Math, or other Computer Science related field.
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience with Linux-based IT systems and applications such as:
• Splunk
• Ansible Tower
• NIX Operating Systems
• MacOS

• RedHat System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possession of DoD 8570, IAT Level II Security+ CE certification or equivalent
• Experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation/maintenance for approved operating systems is preferred but not required
