Food Manufacturing PLANT IN KENOSHA WISCONSIN looking for a maintenance mechanic on 3rd shift
PLC TROUBLESHOOTING IS PREFFERED
3rd Shift on a 3,2,2,3 schedule 7pm-7:30am every other weekend off

ELECTRO MECHANIC RANGE IS $24.85hr-$33.10/hr

Food Manufacturing-GMP Environment Experience desired
Experience working on and around Sanitary Systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment.
Operation, troubleshoot, and repair of Steam, Refrigeration, and Wastewater systems
Experience working with pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps
Ability to work on electrical systems including motors, drives, PLC’s, HMI’s pressure, temperature, flow and other control instruments and devices
Capable of fabricating components, tools, and equipment
Stainless Steel and Sanitary Welding skills is a plus

PM System Implementation
Perform PM work as directed by supervisor and leads
Perform PM work in a self-directed manner based on work orders from eMaintenance
Document activities
Schedule PM work to avoid production interruption

Safety
LOTO
Working at elevated heights
Capable of operating Fork trucks, Lifts, etc
Hot Work

FOOD SAFETY

RESPONSIBILITIES: Report all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and / or head of Quality and take immediate action as appropriate within the team as defined by Quality procedures. 1. Experience working in a GMP environment 2. Food manufacturing experience

AUTHORITY DURING EXTENDED ABSENCE During an extended absence of the Maintenance Supervisor the Maintenance Mechanic will report directly to the Shift Lead. IV.KEY CONTACTS 1. Production Manager 2. Maintenance Coordinator 3. Project and Process Engineers 4. QC Technicians 5. Purchasing Administrators 6. Shift Production, Receiving and Shipping Supervisors. 7. Maintenance staff

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. 5+ years mechanical maintenance experience
2. Excellent mechanical ability
3. Electrical – controls background
4. Strong trouble shooting skills
5. Strong administrative skills - must be able to quickly and effectively learn new software programs
6. Welding and fabrication experience
7. Strong Communication Skills 8. Must be able to lift 50 lbs
