Full Job Description
This position is to be a part of the Bristol Marine team. It requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and an eagerness to work in an interpersonal and collaborative environment. Technicians will prepare wood, fiberglass, and metal surfaces for painting and paint parts, equipment, interior and exterior of vessels utilizing brushes, spray guns, and rollers. The candidate will have the ability to work diligently to meet deadlines and communicate effectively and courteously with co-workers. 2-5 years experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Base skills related to preparation procedures include filling, fairing, and priming surfaces for finish paint application
● Applying all two-part urethane and acrylic finishes, including base coat, clear coat systems for yacht quality finish
● Excellent work ethic
● Ability to follow instructions
● Attention to detail and high-quality work
* A strong background in the automotive repair and paint industry is a plus.
