JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Marketing, and/or Business preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years sales/direct marketing preferred.

The Community Resource Liaison consistently explores the development of both new and potential referral sources, maintains and works existing referral sources, identifies referral source needs, and suggests services to meet those needs. Target markets include Hospitals, Group Homes, Board & Care Facilities, and Independent Living Facilities. This position also assists with the development of promotional materials and activities promoting the hospital. Duties include but not limited to:

Provides liaison services between Del Amo Hospital and referral sources in order to satisfy referral source needs, i.e. admission criteria, cost, method of payment, tours, conferences and in-services.

Knowledgeable of the professional mental health community and admission criteria for all programs.

Follows up on admissions and account activity. Problem solves when necessary.

Able to evaluate account status, achieve goals and is flexible as circumstances dictate.

Determines potential needs and demands for services, whether or not currently provided by Del Amo Hospital.

Continually monitors competitor information and services.

Media/Advertising: Provides input on new copy for programs: Assists with coordinating print ads, direct mail pieces, and other advertising. Assists with media requests, coordinates activities as directed.

Meets marketing contact goals and objectives as identified with supervisor on a weekly basis.

  • Participates in plans, programs and events.
  • Attends and participates in business/referral development team meetings; submits weekly sales call reports and monthly activity schedule.
  • Reports weekly status to Director of Business Development.
  • Maintains records, reports and statistics as required.
  • Provides quality reports and summaries of marketing activities, account status and evaluation of marketing results in a timely manner.
