Our Franchise, SERVPRO® of Chattanooga | SERVPRO® of Bradley County is seeking a Sales Estimating Manager (SEM).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee job expectations of sales personnel
  • Complete annual sales need assessment and market analysis
  • Identify and establish revenue, collection, and activity goals
  • Compare past and projected revenues to sales goals
  • Increase sales revenue and achieve sales goals
  • Oversees and implements professional sales training, priority response training, ancillary services training, and business training
  • Reviews project documentation
  • Manage sales on-call scheduling to ensure 24/7 coverage at all times
  • Manage storm team file documentation
  • Monitor and coach sales activities
  • Evaluate sales staff performance including overseeing the estimating process
  • Manage and improve customer satisfaction, including overseeing the estimating process
  • Overseeing T & M usage
  • Storm set up and logistics
  • Improve Sales technology
  • Fulfill duties of Sales Estimator based upon workload and staffing levels
  • Ensure all SERVPRO HQ IAC Alerts are pursued according to Company Guidelines
  • Establish protocols and procedures to monitor local news media and social media for sales opportunities

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Company vehicles assigned to Sales Department according to Company guidelines
  • Maintain and track assets assigned to Sales Department according to Company Guidelines
  • Attend Company and Industry Training Events as scheduled by Management
  • Participate in trade and professional associations related to community First Responders
  • Ensures Budgets are maintained
  • Conduct Weekly 1:1 with all Sales Estimators
  • Supports and adheres to the company's mission, vision and values as well as policies and procedure.
  • Demonstrates exceptional personal conduct standards in all business interactions with team members and customers.
  • Set an example for the department through regular, timely and professional communication with all other departments in the Company.

Necessary Experience and Skill Set:

  • Five + years sales or customer service experience, with demonstrated history of sales ability and growth
  • Required to have Xactimate software experience
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • IICRC Certification required
  • Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
  • Solid organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment while being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience
  • Experience with professional sales or marketing associations a plus
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
