ROI is currently partnering with multiple large, reputable Heavy Civil Contractors in their search for a Full-Time Heavy Civil Superintendent in the Greater Boston Area and North Shore.

The ideal candidate will have experience interacting with clients, subcontractors, and workers on site. The position will require experience working on Heavy Civil Bridge and/or Road projects throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

Position Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule daily activities for sub-contractors on site.
• Ensure that safety protocols are being met on site
• Facilitate meetings between owners, subcontractors, project managers and engineering teams
• Create three week look schedules to ensure construction is on time
• Work closely with town and city officials in coordinating/updating construction activities
• Manage budgets, submittals, materials, and change orders in coordination with the project manager

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in the Heavy Civil Industry
• Prior experience working on Bridge projects
• Strong technical background using Microsoft Office
• OSHA 30 certification
• Familiarity with MassDOT and NHDOT guidelines
